Life In Bedroom
캔버스 위에서 이 세상의 모든 아침을 맞이하는 곳이자 삶의 안식처를 모색한다.
침대는 수면의 공간으로 휴식을 하기 위해 존재하지만, 무의식의 공간으로 이끄는 창구로서 새로운 세상을 창조하는 무한한 상상력의 세상의 입구이다. 침대는 곧 하나의 소우주의 탄생이며 이 장소에서의 안식은 자유분방한 형태로서 본인의 내면의 세계를 탐구할 수 있는 진정한 자유의 세계이며, 이 곳의 법칙 또한 한계가 존재하지 않는다. 시공간의 개념이 변칙적으로 변화하는 이 혼돈 속에서 자유의사 없는 유기적인 흐름에 따라 우리는 놀랍게도 이 흐름을 거스르지 않는다.
작가는 침대라는 소재를 통해 무의식의 세계를 탐구하고, 작가의 현실 시공간에 대한 해석을 시각화한다. 작가의 현실은 여자로서, 부모로서, 한 남자의 동반자로서 변화하고 진화한다. 격동하는 현실이 침대의 무의식 속의 세상에서 어떠한 의미를 가지는 것인지 작가는 다양한 영역으로 확장시키고 관찰한다.
부부로서, 침대는 서로의 존재를 확인하는 자유의 축복을 의미한다. 각 자의 날 것 그 자체로 존재할 수 있는 감정의 소용돌이 속에서 서로의 세계를 관철시킨다. 이는 우주의 충돌이고, 새로운 혼돈의 시작이지만 부부는 계절이라는 시간의 흐름 속에서 평온과 휴식을 찾아가며 부부의 세계는 새로운 형태로서 창조해나간다.
생명의 축복은 현실과 무의식의 세계에 다시 큰 변화를 가져오게 된다. 둘 만의 세상의 결합을 통한 새로운 우주의 창조는 축복이다. 새로운 세상이 융합되는 진정한 창조되는 장소로서 침대는 새로운 무의식의 차원을 발견한다. 축복의 크기만큼 혼란과 고통이 수반되는 과정에서 침대는 폭풍속의 전쟁터이고, 섞이지 않는 듯 섞이는 바다이며, 심연의 어둠의 형태와 부부의 관계를 체스의 기물로 시각화 하는 등의 안정화된 단계를 갖춘다. 하지만 이 무의식에서 잉태되는 생명의 형태는 자유롭고 형식은 중요하지 않는 가장 순수한 형태로서 가족 모두의 무의식에서 성장한다.
인생에서 가장 많은 시간을 쏟는 곳으로서 침대는 삶에서 가장 중요하고 사적인 장소로서 존재한다. 대부분의 인간의 삶처럼 침대는 언제나 한 곳에서 정적으로 고정된 곳에서 존재한다. 작가는 말한다. 여자로 태어나, 동반자를 만나고 결혼을 해서 아이를 낳는 정형적인 삶은 존재하지 않는다. 무한한 변화와 충돌을 동반하는 기제로서의 침대는 다양한 형상으로 우리에게 존재한다.
무의식의 세상의 융합은 삶이 라는 종착지가 정해진 운명에 새로운 자유와 안식을 발견하고 새로운 우주를 창조한다. 이는 침대가 더 이상 가장 사적인 공간이 아닌 가장 공적인 공간이 되는 것을 뜻하고 작가는 침대를 통해 세상에 본인이 발견하고 창조한 세계를 공표하고 공유한다.

On canvas, the artist seeks the sanctuary where every life begins and rests in solitude. The bed exists as a space for rest and slumber, but it also serves as a gateway to the unconsciousness, where infinite imaginations constantly create new worlds. The bed represents the birth of a universe, and the rest found in this place is a true realm of freedom, where one can explore their inner world without limits. Within the chaotic shifts of time and space without free will, we surprisingly don’t resist this turbulent but organic flow.
The artist explores the unconscious world through the theme of the bed and visualizes interpretations of her reality’s time and space. As a woman, a parent, and a companion to a man, the artist’s reality constantly changes and evolves through reality. Through various perspective and theme, artist expand and observe her turbulent reality through the unconscious world of the bed.
As lovers, the bed symbolizes the blessing of confirming each other’s existence. Amid the whirlwind of raw emotions, they merge their worlds together. It’s a collision of universes, the beginning of new chaos, yet within the flow of time, like seasons, the couple finds tranquility and rest, continuously creating their world in new forms.
The blessing of life brings significant transformations to both reality and the unconscious world. The fusion of their separate worlds creates a new universe – a blessing of life. The bed discovers new dimensions of the unconscious in this process. Though turmoil and pain accompanied by the magnitude of the blessing, the bed becomes a stormy battlefield, an unpredictable sea, and endless abyss where the couple’s relationship becomes a holy battle between chess pieces. However, life conceived from the unconscious grows freely and take the purest form, transcending structure, growing within the unconscious of the entire family.
As the place where most time is spent in life, the bed exists as the most important and private place in one’s existence. Like for most humans, the bed always remains in one fixed, static place. The artist asserts that a typical life of being born as a woman, meeting a companion, getting married, and having children does not exist. To the artist’s life, the bed exists as various and unique shapes as a mechanism of infinite changes and conflict.
The convergence of the unconscious world allows life to discover new freedom and rest within the predetermined destiny of “life” and creates a new universe. This means the bed no longer remains the most private space but becomes the most public space. Through the bed, the artist proclaims and shares the world they have discovered and created with the world.
