    out of focus, too fast

Out of focus, too fast is an exhibition of media artwork all made from mining, reorganizing, and manipulating images from an archive of family videos. The artwork began as a way to procrastinate writing about, but also to help me think-through, ideas about subjectivity and how individuals make meaning or make sense of our lives and the world around us. I’m interested in how individual agency, the influences of other people, places, and things in our web of relations, and institutions of power and knowledge, all factor into meaning-making.
