미완성 행진곡
나의 작업은 진행형이며 변화된다.
지금 현재 전시되어 있는 몇 개의 작품 또 한 미완성이며 진행형 작품이다.
완성이냐 아니냐는 극히 주관적 시각적 관점에서 선택되며 나의 선택에 따라 작품들은
완전히 분해되거나 전혀 다른 이미지로 변화될 수도 있다.
선택에는 많은 갈등과 용기가 필요하다.
아무리 신중해도 남아있는 작품들은 나의 만족도를 높일 수가 없을 때도 많고 오히려 사라진 시점의 작품을 그리워할 때도 있다.
그렇다고 선택을 망설이면 안 된다.
마치 이 시간은 책을 수십 번 아니 수백 번 읽고 또 읽으며 자연스럽게, 완벽히 흡수되기 바라는 것과 같다고 생각한다,
시작은 언제 시작되는지 모르고 끝은 언제 끝날지 모른다.
다만 현재의 시간과 나의 시간이 존재할 뿐이다.
나는 갈등과 좌절 그리고 만족이 있는 이 모든 인고의 과정을 단단함을 향해 천천히 행진할 것이다.
작가 장은혜는 부산에 거주하며 서울을 기반으로 작업 활동을 하고 있다,
다양한 재료들을 순수한 물성으로 해석, 실험, 응용하는 작업을 하고 있으며 매체의 화학적
반응으로 만든 추상적 이미지 형태의 회화와 촉각을 특성을 강하게 나타내는 입체 콜라주
작업을 하고 있다.
Unfinished March
My works are still in progress and changing.
Some of my works displayed in the gallery now are still unfinished and in progress.
It is chosen from a very subjective and visual perspective whether it is finished or unfinished, and depending on my choice, my works may be completely disassembled or transformed into absolutely different images.
Choice needs a lot conflict and courage.
No matter how careful I am, sometimes, my works made me not satisfied or I miss my works at the time it is already gone.
But, do not hesitate the choice.
I think this time is as if I read books hundreds of times and then hope they should be absorbed in my mind naturally and completely.
We do not know when the beginning starts and when it would be end.
However, the current time and my time only are in there.
I will march slowly toward hardness by my work process of patience with conflict, frustration, and satisfaction.
Artist Jang Eun-hye lives in Busan and does her work activity in Seoul
She interprets, experiments, and applies various materials with pure physical property of matter. Furthermore, she is working on three-dimensional collage that strongly shows the characteristics of painting and sense of touch in the form of abstract image created by the chemical reaction of the medium.
