Overlapping Planes
사진 속 픽셀들은 디지털 이미지를 구축하는 가장 작은 구성 요소이고, 또한 완성된 우주이며, 동시에 서로를 반사하는 거울이다. 당신이 지금 보고 있는 것은 하나가 무한대로, 무한대가 하나로 이어지는 원리이며, 동시에 시간을 초월하는 현상계 그 자체의 풍경이다. 내 작업들은 최소한 나에게는 일종의 풍경사진이다.
The pixels in the picture are the smallest components of building digital images, as well as mirrors that reflect each other and the completed universe. What you see now is the principle that one leads to infinity and infinity leads to one. It is also a landscape of the phenomenal world itself that transcends time. For me, my work is a kind of landscape photography at least.
HJH(Hojjin Hwang)는 사진을 재해석하고, 생성된 이미지를 중첩하거나 해체하면서, 고전적 의미의 사진과 디지털 이미지의 경계를 넘어 현상계를 시각적으로 재구성하는 작업을 진행하고 있다.
Artist HJH (Hwang Ho-jin) is engaged in visually reconstructing the phenomenal world beyond the boundaries of classical photography and digital images, by reinterpreting photographs, superimposing them, and dismantling generated images.
