Most of my work begins as an act of pressing shutter.

The sound of the shutters and the recording of the video clip could not be taken away from the work.

All of the works here are after the shutters.

However, some of the works have begun to cover the process and the beginning process. (Witness,Camera – shutter noise)

Now the shutter of the mobile phone has become powerful as well.

Still, the process of pushing the shutter is like writing a novel writer.

Records are very violent at some point.

I’m look at my eyes for a moment at a time of confusion.

I’m often afraid to press the shutter. But continue shooting.

저의 작업의 대부분은 찍는 행위로서 시작합니다.

셔터소리와 영상의 녹화음은 작업에서 떼어 놓을 수 없습니다.

작업들은 대부분 셔터를 누른 순간과 이후의 모습들 이지만,

Witness는 그 중간과정, Camera – Shutter noise 에서는 시작 과정을 조금이나마 느낄 수 있도록 하는 작업이 있습니다.

이제 휴대폰 카메라로 누구나 셔터를 누를수 있지만, 아직도 셔터를 누르는 과정은 소설가가 펜을 눌러 쓰는 것과 같습니다.

기록과 함께 의도적으로 낭만을 담기도 하지만, 어느 지점에선 굉장한 폭력이기도입니다.

뒤죽박죽인 시선들 틈에서 종종 셔터를 누르는 자신을 되돌아봅니다.

나는 셔터를 누르는 것이 무섭지만 계속 하는 수 밖에 없습니다.
