“Woman and Architecture – Looking at Human and Society”
My Exhibition ‘Woman and Architecture’ visualize my point of view about the society I belong to.
There’s a harmony and a tension between reality and the imaginary world in my works.
They are produced by digital method but I’ve been trying to touch people’s analog sensibility.
Three key words for doing works are ‘Placeness’ ‘Historicity’ and ‘Humanity’.
‘Placeness’ means the relationship of the architecture and the place where it stands.
‘Historicity’ means the accumulation of time from the past to the present trough architecture and human life.
‘Humanity’ means the spirit through the form of human life and the form of architecture.
I use the photographs taken by myself and choose the women found artworks in the past.
These images are deformed, overlapped, disorganized and finally create new images.
I’m an artist visualizing my sensibility and imagination with digital method.
As a member of ‘Asia Network Beyond Design’ I share and exchange my ideas and values with other Asian artists.
