CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the CICA Art Studio Program for Spring 2025. The program will take place at the CICA Museum in Spring 2025, with available months are from November 2024 to June 2025. Each artist will be allocated a studio space of around 44m2 for one month, where they will have a solo exhibition at the assigned space for 1-2 weeks during the term based on their preference. The artist may collaborate with CICA Museum and/or CICA Kids Lab to conduct workshops or performances. Furthermore, the artist will be showcased in the e-book, “CICA Art Now 2025,” with the option to order a print edition.

*Term and Conditions:
Each artist will be allocated a studio space of approximately 44m2 at the CICA Museum for one month between November 2024 and June 2025. The artist will have access to the designated space throughout the agreed period. Basic tools such as hammers, levels, tape measures, electric drills, screws, and a ladder will be provided for use. Please note that sleeping in the facility is prohibited.
The artist will need to contribute the registration fee of $900 USD to confirm the participation. During the agreed period, the artist can collaborate with CICA Museum and/or CICA Kid’s Lab on an art project, as well as conduct workshops or performances. If any profits are made from selling artworks, tickets, etc., the artist will receive a 90% commission. The museum will promote the events on social media and in communities, covering the promotional costs with its 10% commission. June 5-30, 2024: Approvals: Selected artists will be notified by email.
November 2024 – June 2025: Art Studio Program (Each artist will participate for one month).
August 1, 2025: Expected publication date of “CICA Art Now 2025″

– Please send us up to 10 JPG (100-500 kilobytes per image recommended) portfolio images and/or up to 3 direct links to video/ web/interactive art, your artist statement, and bio. Please email them to “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com.”

2025 상반기 CICA 아트 스튜디오 참여 작가 모집
CICA 미술관에서 2025 상반기 CICA 아트 스튜디오 참여 작가를 모집합니다. 선정된 작가는 CICA 미술관 스튜디오 공간 (약 44m2/12평)을 배정받아 한 달간 프로젝트를 진행하게 되며 진행 기간 중 1~2주 동안 해당 공간에서 개인전을 열게 됩니다. 작가가 원할 경우 진행 기간 중 CICA 미술관과 협약하여 아트 프로젝트 및 워크숍, 공연 등을 진행할 수 있습니다. 참여 작가는 전자 서적 “CICA Art Now 2025”에 소개될 예정이며 서적은 추후 프린트 버전으로 주문 제작 가능합니다.

*진행 기간 및 조건:
선정된 작가는 2024년 11월부터 2025년 6월 중 한 달간 진행하게 되며 스튜디오 공간 (약 44m2/12평)이 주어집니다. 선정 작가는 계약 기간 중 자유롭게 스튜디오 출입 및 작업 가능하십니다. 현장에서 사다리, 전기 드릴, 망치, 줄자, 수평자 등의 기본 도구는 제공 예정입니다. 스튜디오에서 숙박은 불가합니다.
당선된 작가는 1,100,000원($900 USD)의 등록비를 납부하게 됩니다. 스튜디오 진행 기간 중 CICA 미술관 또는 CICA키즈랩과 협약하여 스튜디오 공간에서 아트 프로젝트 및 전시/워크숍/공연 등을 진행하실 수 있으며, 작품 판매 또는 워크숍 및 콘서트 수익금 발생 시 작가 측 커미션은 90%입니다. 협업 진행 시 미술관에서 소셜 미디어 및 커뮤니티 홍보 진행하며, 홍보 진행비는 미술관 측 커미션 10%에 포함됩니다. 미술관 또는 CICA키즈랩과 협업을 원하실 경우 지원 이메일을 통해 알려주시기를 바랍니다.
