CICA Museum invites experimental film makers and artists worldwide to participate in the CICA Experimental Film and Video Exhibition 2025. We accept single-channel experimental films, video art, and animations.
*Installation:
We will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the show. Multiple single-channel works will be screened through a projector. If the work is required to be screened through a projector exclusively, or more than two projectors/monitors are needed, please indicate the special requirements in the submission email. Additional fees may apply.
*Timeline:
September 23, 2024 Close Submissions
September 28 – October 13, 2024 Approvals: Selected artists will be notified by email.
May 21 – June 15, 2025 Exhibition Dates

*How to submit your work:
– Please send us your bio and up to 3 direct links to video. Please email them to “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com.”
– Please write “Submission: Experimental Film and Video 2025 – Artist’s Name” in the subject line of your email.
If your work is selected, you will be required to pay the show processing & maintenance fee: $75 (USD) per work.

2025 CICA 실험 영화 및 영상 국제전 공모
2025 CICA 실험 영화 및 영상 국제전에 참여할 국내외의 실험 영화 및 비디오 작품들을 공모합니다. 모집 장르는 실험 영화, 영상 작품 및 애니메이션입니다.
*설치:
전시를 위한 프로젝터, DVD/DIVX 플레이어 등이 지원되며 작품은 CICA 미술관의 큐레이터들이 작가님의 가이드라인에 따라 작품을 설치 예정입니다. 작품의 수송에서 발생하는 비용은 작가가 부담합니다. 몇 점의 싱글 채널 비디오 작품들이 한 프로젝터에서 상영될 예정입니다. 작품이 하나의 프로젝터에서 단독으로 설치되어야 하는 경우, 또는 두 대 이상의 프로젝터나 모니터를 필요로 하는 작품의 경우 추가 비용이 발생할 수 있습니다.

2024년 9월 28일 – 10월 13일 선정 작가에게 이메일이 갈 예정입니다.
2025년 5월 21일 – 6월 15일 전시 기간

선정된 작가는 작품 한 점당 100,000원의 전시 진행 및 관리 비용을 지불하게 됩니다.
