    existence

The exhibition “existence” has filmed the landscape of the harmony and coexistence between human technology and the beauty of nature for a certain amount of time. The landscape has both traditional and modern cases.

Japan, the artist’s home country, and Kyoto in particular, is an ideal stage for practicing this style of expression.

Traditional Japanese gardens and tea rooms incorporate nature boldly to create delicate and dynamic landscapes.
The windows, called “shoji,” made of wooden frames and Japanese paper, are delicate and beautiful, bringing harmony between people and nature rather than separating them.

Zen temples are designed to fully embrace the power and mystery of natural forces.
Since ancient times, humans have built their lifestyles and cultures according to the laws of nature and the moon cycle.

Tsutomu’s works, composed solely of a static perspective and a fixed duration of time, serve to make the viewer aware of their own existence.

In today’s world, where virtual reality are expanding rapidly, this project aims to celebrate humanity and return to the spirit of technology and society coexisting with nature.
