The unconscious conscious movement
나의 작업은 생명력을 포착한 순간을 시각화하는 작업이다. 생명의 무의식적인 자각적 운동을 새들의 군무를 소재로 작업하며 이를 본인의 삶과 감성을 투영하며 재해석하여 창작하였다. 새들의 군무의 변화 속에서 생명의 운동 에너지를 포착하여 표현하는 과정이며 이는 대자연 속에 내재되어 있는 유기적이고 역동적인 생명력에 대한 이해의 과정이기도 하다.
새들은 자신의 생명을 보호하기 위해 생명의 심층에서부터 우러나는 춤을 추게 된다. 이 본능적이며 자각적인 행위에서 동태적인 생명 이미지를 발견하고 본인의 감정이 투영된 예술 창작 행위를 통하여 생명력의 다양한 변화의 모양들을 발견하고 표현하였다.
프랑스 생명철학자 베르그송이 말하는 생명의 세계에서 만물이 시냇물처럼 지속적으로 흘러가며 자신을 가로막는 장애를 뚫고 비약한다는 생명력의 창조적이며 능동적인 약동에 대해 영감을 얻었고 작품세계를 펼치는데 철학적 근거를 마련하였다.
생명의 에너지, 자발적으로 약동하는 생명력을 새들의 군무와 능동적이며 생기가 느껴지는 움직임를 통하여 시각화하며, 생명 고유의 리듬감과 약동감을 담아내었다.
My work is to visualize the moment I capture the vitality. The unconscious conscious movement of life was created by working on the group dance of birds and reinterpreting it by projecting their lives and emotions. It is a process of capturing and expressing the kinetic energy of life in the changes in the group dance of birds, which is also a process of understanding the organic and dynamic vitality inherent in Mother Nature.
Birds dance from the depths of life to protect their lives. In this instinctive and self-aware act, a dynamic image of life was discovered and expressed through art creation activities in which one’s emotions were projected.
French philosopher Bergson inspired the creative and active movement of the life force that everything flows continuously like a stream in the world of life, breaking through obstacles in his way, and laying the philosophical foundation for unfolding the world of work.
The energy of life and the vitality of voluntary movement are visualized through the murmuration of birds and active and lively movements, and the unique rhythm and movement of life are captured.
