    Evolving Morphology

Humans create artificial objects by cutting, splitting, shaping, and grinding material to reveal the object from within the material. This process is fundamentally about “subtraction.”
On the other hand, living organisms in nature grow a little bit every day by consuming nutrients and building themselves up layer by layer. This process is about “addition.”
3D Printing works by stacking digital materials, known as pixels and voxels, at a micro-material level, similar to how coral organisms build their skeletons by accumulating calcium layer by layer. This gradual layering process forms shapes, akin to natural formation rather than sculpting by removal.
Therefore, the essence of 3D Printing is not about creating shapes that can be carved out but about building up shapes similar to living organisms or organic structures. The exhibited forms are the illusion of experimental creatures that originated from this concept. This approach represents thousands of years of architectural essence and exploration of natural forms.
