CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the Contemporary Art Solo Show Series and the publication. Each selected artist will have a solo exhibition for a week (Wednesday – Sunday) in the gallery space (around 44m2). The artists will be also featured in the the e-book, “CICA Art Now 2025,” which will be available via Amazon Kindle. The printed version will be available by order.

*Timeline:
May 1, 2024: Close submissions
May 7 – 30, 2024: Approvals: Selected artists will be notified by email.
Between January and June 2025: Contemporary Art Solo Show Series
August 1, 2025: Expected publication date of “CICA Art Now 2025”
*How to submit your work:
– Please send us up to 10 JPG portfolio images (100-700 kilobytes per image recommended) and/or up to 3 direct links to video/ web/interactive art, your artist statement, and bio. Please email them to “cicamuseum.submission@gmail.com.”
– Please write “Submission: Contemporary Art Solo Show Spring 2025 – Artist’s Name” in the subject line of your email.
If your work is selected, you will be required to pay the show processing & maintenance fee: $600 (USD). The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses.

작가 공모: CICA 2025 상반기 현대 미술 작가 개인전 시리즈
CICA 미술관에서 현대작가를 선정하여 개인전 시리즈 및 영문 서적 출판을 통해 국제 무대에 소개하는 기회를 마련하고자 합니다. 선정된 작가는 CICA 미술관에서 일주일간 (수-일요일) 개인전을 하게 되며 약 44m2 (12평)의 전시 공간이 주어집니다. 작가 및 작품 소개는 e북 “CICA Art Now 2025”에 수록되며, 아마존 킨들에서 판매 예정입니다. 서적은 프린트 버전으로 주문 제작 가능합니다.

*당선된 작가는 790,000원의 전시 진행 및 관리 비용을 지불하게 됩니다.
