    morphous Hemisphere

From my childhood, having lived in five different countries, I always had to adapt to the language and culture of each country. Whether I liked it or not, I had no choice but to live according to the rules and norms they had established. As I grew into adulthood, I began to wonder about myself. Who am I? What is my identity? Despite numerous attempts to answer these questions through various endeavors, I couldn’t find a definitive answer because the question itself lacked one. Through experiencing many cultures, I concluded that I lacked a distinct identity. The absence of identity led me to delve into research, ultimately reaching the concept of ‘water’. Water, being a substance with no color or smell, changes its form depending on the vessel it’s contained in. Delving into water, I began with the Amorphous series. The early works of the Amorphous series focused more on the visual aspect of water, exploring the patterns of waves rather than the substance itself. If the Amorphous series was about the exploration of visuals, the Amorphous Hemisphere marked the beginning of studying the properties of water. During this time, I started paintings without linings, exploring the characteristics of texture and nocked to Monoha. Amorphous Hemisphere was one such
exploration. However, a plastic hemisphere was added, bearing a special significance. The artwork viewed through this hemisphere enlarges or distorts depending on the viewing angle, showing various perspectives, reflecting the diversity of viewpoints. These myriad perspectives, the absence of a single correct view, became the outcome of my quest for identity. That’s what the Amorphous Hemisphere represents.
