LAZYVIDEO – “토끼의 왕 (Rabbit Kingdom)” (2013)
괴물들이 사는 나라에선 괴물이 왕이다. 왕 토끼의 뱃속을 힘차게 역류해 입으로부터 태어난 괴물 토끼는 바른 길, ‘정류’를 찾아 내장 속을 쫓기듯 헤매지만 그는 영원토록 땅 아래를 역류하기만 한다. 얇고 희미한 탯줄이 마침내 끊어지는 순간, 괴물 토끼는 왕 토끼의 발 아래, 내장 속에서 그대로 유산된다.
내장 속에서 벌어지는 괴물 토끼의 역류, 땅 위로 쏟아지는 왕 토끼의 구토는 그저 한시적인 급체의 결과물인 것처럼 보인다. 그러나 나는 생각보다 자주 체하고 그때마다 뱃속의 구토가 땅 위로 태어나지 못하도록 최선을 다해 억누른다. 사실 구토는 죄가 없다. 나는 오늘도 구토를 참기위해 끊임없이 투쟁하고 있다. 구토는 결백하지만, 괴물들이 사는 나라에선 괴물이 왕이다.
A monster becomes a king in monsters’ nation. A monster rabbit tries to find his way out, but he is eternally flowed back up beneath the earth. He is eventually miscarried in the intestine, under the foot of the rabbit king.
LAZYVIDEO

LAZYVIDEO는 영상을 주축으로 하는 신생 아티스트 그룹으로, 영화 연출, 댄스, 회화, 연기 등 각자 다른 분야에서 활동하는 4인의 멤버로 구성되었다. 실험적인 단편영화로 근간을 이룬 LAZYVIDEO는 미디어 설치, 일러스트, 회화, 연극, 출판 등 장르를 가리지 않는 다양한 작업을 통해 보다 폭넓은 관객들과 소통하고자 한다.
LAZYVIDEO is an artist group consisting of four members from diverse backgrounds including producing, dancing, painting, and acting. LAZYVIDEO mainly focuses on experimental film experimenting with various media such as new media installation, illustration, painting, play, and publication.
홍혜연 Hye-Hyon Hong – “단발이( 가제. 색맹 Color Blind )” (2016)
다른 색으로 덮느라 보지 못했던, 잊고 살았던 ‘나’의 일기이다.
“Color Blind” is about a personal story of an artist who couldn’t find her true color while disguising herself as other colors.
홍혜현 Hye-Hyon Hong
홍혜현은 음악의 시각화에 관심이 많으며, 세계에서 “짱 영상쟁이”가 되기를 꿈꾸며 2016년을 살고 있다.
Hye-Hyun likes to visualize music. She dreams about being the best video editor in the world.
Ellie Kyungran Heo_허경란 – “Island” (2015)
본 영상은 한국의 최남단 섬, 전체를 둘러보는데 한 시간 남짓 걸리는 곳을 조명한다. 그 섬은 첫배가 들어온 후 관광객으로 채워진 분주함과 마지막 배가 나간 후 극히 소수만 남는 비워짐의 환경적 대조를 보인다. 이러한 현상은 지리적 뿐만 아니라 심리적인 섬으로서의 위치를 강조한다. 본 작업은 그 섬 안의 몇몇 거주자의 일상 생활을 중심으로 “당신은 어디에 있나요?”, “왜 당신은 여기에 있나요?” 그리고 “당신에게 대체 무슨 일이 있었나요?” 라는 질문들을 던진다.
This film features an island at the southern-most point of South Korea, which requires less than an hour to cover its terrain. On the island, there are two extremely contrasting atmospheres, crowded hoards and hours of emptiness. These emphasise its position geographically and psychologically as an island. In a filmic relationship, gazing at some residents on the island, the questions “Where are you now?”, “Why are you here?” and “What happened to you?” would be asked to the film’s subjects, audience, and the director-self.
허경란_Ellie Kyungran Heo
허경란은 아티스트 필름메이커이다. 그녀는 대상과의 갈등, 친밀함 그리고 예민함의 관계 변화 안에서 대상의 퍼포먼스와 다큐멘테이션이 꼴라쥬된 실험 영상을 만든다. 그를 통해 그녀는 대상, 관람자 그리고 아티스트 사이의 윤리적 관계에 대한 질문이 던져지는 공간을 창출한다.
그녀의 최근 필름 “섬” (2015)은 LUX – 영국 아티스트 필름 주요 배급 기관 – 주관으로 South London Gallery 에서 전시되었으며, 한국 사이아트 스페이스에서 개인전의 기반이 되었다. 2013 년 졸업 이후로, 그녀의 필름은 국제적으로 우크라이나, 스페인, 미국 그리고 특별히 중국 베이징 Today Art Museum 을 포함하여 다수의 영국내 그룹 전시와 스크리닝에 초대되었다. 그녀는 한국 퍼블릭 아트 매거진과 사이아트 스페이스에서 2016 년 신진작가로 선정되었으며, 영국 Chelsea & Westminster Hospital 에서 예술 영상 제작 의뢰를 수여받았다.
허경란은 2015 년 Royal College of Art 에서 MA 를 그리고 2013 Chelsea College of Arts 에서 BA 를 받았다.
Ellie Kyungran Heo is an artist-filmmaker. She makes experimental films by collaging the performance and documentation of her subject as her relationship to the subject changes over time with respect to conflict, intimacy and sensitivity. In so doing, she creates a space in which questions relating to the ethical relationship between the subject, the audience and the artist can be examined.
Her recent film “Island”(2015) was exhibited at South London Gallery in association with LUX and was the basis of a solo show at the Cyart Space in South Korea. Since graduating in 2013, her films have also been selected for numerous group exhibitions and screenings in the UK and internationally including Ukraine, Spain, USA and significantly at the Today Art Museum in Beijing, China. She has received awards from Public Art Magazine Artist 2016 and the 8th New Discourse Artist in South Korea in addition to a commission from Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in the UK.
Ellie received an MA from the Royal College of Art in 2015 and a BA from Chelsea College of Arts in 2013.
